What is this?
welcome to a visualization of my experiences thus far on the web. well ive never used 4chan lol but the functional design is something to me,,, as a little girl growing up within the rise of the societal fabric that is the personal platform, i was enamored with the endless possibilities of computer-aided creation. i became immersed in the novelty of learning new softwares to make something, spending hours mastering new technologies or [self-expansions]. coupled with the democratization of expression that is one's own personal, cybernetic space, it was-- and continues to be -- thrilling.
as such, the internet encompasses a timestamped archive of my own existence- my musings, creations, and interests, even long after i cease to exist on the earthly realm my feet are planted in. i wonder,
what does it mean to be human when one's presence transcends corporeal limitations?
what does it mean to be human when the net that never dies is a conduit for a surreal communion with those who have?
what does it mean when the threads between the embodied human and the disembodied machine are increasingly intertwined? tigher, tighter, tigher
?
